ivtvd, a daemon in perl for capturing video data
ivtvd can be found here.
It is a daemon written completely in Perl to access a video grabber card
that can be accessed with the ivtv driver.
Some of its features are:
- can set the actual system time from videotext data via a patched alevt
- can set the PC to sleep and wake it up (if BIOS supports it)
- can be accessed via telnet on localhost TCP port 2345 (just type help)
- leads a list of broadcasts to record, recordings can be 'weekly' or 'once'
